Juan Gaytan

Juan Gaytan serves as Vice President for KANEKA North America for the MS Polymer Division. His responsibilities include overseeing internal operations for the Americas, helping to build strong customer relationships, maximizing the company’s operating performance, and helping to achieve the company’s financial goals. Before assuming his current position in 2019, Gaytan spent 23 years in various Commercial and Global Marketing roles at The Dow Chemical Company. His experience includes marketing and technical sales of: Propylene Oxide, Propylene Glycol, Polyurethanes, Epoxy, Silicones, Polyglycols, Surfactants, Monomers amongst others.

Gaytan has successfully developed innovate offerings to the chemical industry in different markets segments and has played a key role in the integration of mergers and acquisitions.  Prior to joining Dow in June 1996,  he spent several years working a process engineer at Sherwin-Williams.  Gaytan has a master’s of business administration in service marketing and management from Arizona State University, as well as a master’s of business administration from ITESM-Campus Edo. De Mexico, and a bachelor’s of science in chemical engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
