VP, Sustainability & Procurement, Plastilene GroupRicardo Estrada is a Sustainability and Procurement Vice President for Plastilene Group, a Multinational Company with South, Central, and North America facilities that strongly focus on sustainability, circular economy, and innovation. He led the implementation of Plastilene’s Strategic Sourcing and Global Procurement Corporate Strategy in 2014. He is responsible for building over the leading resin suppliers’ partnerships and agreements and supervising the overall procurement and negotiations for Plastilene Group. Estrada has been implementing the sustainable innovation strategy for the Plastilene Group from 2018 to the present. Estrada has been a panelist at essential events related to the petrochemical industry, sustainability, and recycling in the US, EUROPE, and LATAM. Estrada is a member of different SPC committees, a member of the board of CEMPRE (Enterprise Commitment for Recycling) in Colombia, and a Member of the board of the Colombian Plastics Pact. Estrada is a Ph.D. candidate from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management at the University of Lisbon. He is a Production Engineer with an EMBA from Temple University, Master’s studies at Universidad Javeriana Colombia, and international studies in Negotiation, Innovation, and sustainability at Universities like Harvard, HEC, and TUDELFT.
